Bidenflation Just Came Back to Haunt the President – Labor Department Just Released Evidence It’s Here to Stay

What’s Happening:

You have to be really out of touch with America to think the economy is “strong as hell.” But that is how Joe Biden described it not long ago. Despite what he claims, most Americans are feeling real pain at the pump, the grocery store, and everywhere else.

Basic staples like meat, dairy, and eggs are costing through the roof. Biden has all but dismissed this problem, after passing his wrongly-named “Inflation Reduction Act.” His administration has even tried to claim recently that inflation is a thing of the past. What is he going to do about this report, then, from his own agency?

From Just the News:

The Consumer Price Index in December increased by 6.5% compared to the same time 12 months earlier, the Labor Department announced Thursday…

Inflation is currently below the four-decade high of 9.1% in June.

However, food prices remain high as the overall cost of food was 10.4% higher in December than it was a year earlier, according to the agency. Food costs also increased by 0.3% from November to December.

Biden has tried to claim inflation is over, since it isn’t as high as it was back in June 2022. But prices are still 6.5% higher today than they were just one year ago. And worse than that, food prices keep going on.

In the new year, food costs 10.4% more expensive than it was a year ago. That not only hurts families at the grocery store. Every business, from restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and schools–anyone that provides food as part of what they do are hurting.

And that ends up costing Americans even more.

Biden can lick his ice cream cone as much as he wants. But we all know this is his fault. The man without a plan deliberately caused this runaway inflation. He flooded the economy with wasteful spending. He shut down our energy production. He failed to fix the supply chain.

Even today, the Biden administration sits back and snoozes as major industries (like the airlines) collapse. The sooner Republicans get off their butts to impeach this guy, the better.

Key Takeaways:

  • The Department of Labor reported inflation is at 6.5% compared to last year.
  • Prices are 6.5% higher than they were in January 2022.
  • This comes as the Biden administration tries to dismiss inflation.
  • Food prices are even higher, costing 10.4% more than last year.
