Democrats and Republicans both need their bases to come out in full force this November.
But nobody is going to win unless they can snag a large portion of independent or “swing” voters.
Unless Trump or Biden can win over this group, they won’t stand a chance.
Independents have been watching the RNC and mulling over what the right is saying.
The Democrats should be getting worried:
Independent voters “want to hear more about law and order” and “the economic recovery,” pollster Lee Carter told “Fox & Friends” on Thursday…
During the third night of the Republican convention Wednesday, Vice President Mike Pence painted a dark picture of what the nation would look like if Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden wins November’s general election…
Carter said, “Republicans loved this message” and gave it an A grade. She said independent voters gave it a B and Democrats gave the message an F.
A pollster has revealed that independent voters want to hear more about law and order and economic recovery.
Those are the very messages being uplifted at this year’s RNC.
Mike Pence’s speech specifically focused on restoring the American economy and defending our cities. He warned that Joe Biden would destroy our economy and embrace radical leftists policies.
It appears that independents who watched the event gave it a B rating, very high indeed.
This echoes another poll from Rasmussen showing voters are lining up more with Trump than Biden.
After all, the Democrats have gone all-in on a “woke” social justice platform that ignores law and order, focuses on economy-killing plans like taxes and reparations, and promises open borders.
It appears that on nearly every issue, Democrats are ignoring what real Americans are demanding.
That can never be plainer than on the defund the police issue. An overwhelming number of Americans don’t want to defund the police. That includes 83% of black voters, who want more cops, not fewer.
President Trump has always promised to put Americans first. He won 2016 because he was promising a better economy, more jobs, and respect for law and order.
This year, those issues are even more prevalent.
Can Joe match that platform? Will the Democrats embrace law and order and convince Americans they can turn the economy around?
- A pollster reveals that independents care about law and order and the economy.
- Independent voters are resonating with the Republican platform, which focuses on these issues.
- Democrats, on the other hand, want to defund police and embrace social justice.
