Radical leftists have gained such a stronghold of influence in America that it extends throughout the core of Washington, D.C. Leftist ideology has been promoted ad nauseum throughout the halls of Congress and across the nation at political and protest rallies.
The latest slap in the face to patriotic Americans comes from leftists openly supporting anti-Israel protesters. These anti-American agitators have swarmed campuses in major cities and many college campuses.
A controversial congressional Democrat took to the podium this week and defended protesters, including one who was her daughter. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was slammed for her defense of the protesters and fact-checked for her outrageous statements.

Omar, whose daughter was among the students who were suspended and detained for their participation in anti-semitic protests on Columbia University’s campus, defended the protests in an X post, claiming that the protests had been “co-opted” and that was the real reason they looked bad.“Throughout history, protests were co-opted and made to look bad so police and public leaders would shut them down. That’s what we are seeing now at Columbia University,” Omar said. “The Columbia protesters have made clear their demands and want their school not to be complacent in the ongoing Genocide in Gaza. Public officials and media making this about anything else are inflaming the situation and need to bring calmness and sanity back.”
Her claims went over with the public like a ton of bricks. She was instantly called out for her political spin on the anti-semitic uprising. Many of the protesters were caught on camera shouting and chanting slogans that called for the genocide of Jews and the destruction of Israel.
“Ilhan, there’s video. Lots of it,” said Rep. Anthony D’Esposito (R-NY). “These antisemites don’t need police & public leaders to make them look bad. They’re doing that all by themselves. Only demands should be: Hamas, surrender; Release the hostages.”
Others pointed how the protests forced Jewish students off campus due to the threat of violence against them. The protesters included Omar’s daughter, Barnard College student Isra Hirsi.
“Nothing was co-opted here,” Pradheep J. Shankar, M.D., said. “These idiots were always fascists and antisemites (including her daughter). Nothing has changed since the evening of 10/7. The Columbia protester demands are irrelevant, because they are nonsense, and they should ignored. Kick them out.”
October 7, 2023, was the day Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and slaughtered 1,200 innocent Israelis. The terrorists also kidnapped more victims, and many of those have not been released.
