I guess Hunter Biden was expecting this week to be the best of his life. Didn’t turn out that way.
He did the usual rounds to the big talk shows to promote his book. Of course, those liberals handled him with kid gloves—refusing to call him out over his (and his dad’s) many scandals.
Perhaps this would have helped his book sales? Not quite.
“Beautiful Things,” the confessional memoir by Presidential ne’er do well son Hunter Biden is a flop after one week.
NPD Book Scan says the book, in Hunter whines about being a drug addict who slept around and has no memory of fathering a child, has sold just 10,000 copies in its first week. For a celebrity book with so much PR, TV appearances, etc, that’s not a lot.
It seems few Americans are interesting in reading Hunter’s spin on his many missteps and sins. And, it turns out, they want this man investigated and held accountable.
Sixty-eight percent of Americans want Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, according to a new TIPP poll.
You have to wonder at the ego of a man like Hunter. He’s not an actor, politician, or entertainer. He’s not even a celebrity chef.
Yet this guy—a disgraced businessman who rode on his father’s coattails—thought Americans would want to read about his troubled life.
Turns out, he could only sell 10,000 copies of his book—after a week of media blitzes.
That’s pretty bad. I mean, it’s hard to sell a book in this day and age. But you have to figure even a B-list reality show star could move more paper than that.
(Hey, Hunter, maybe you should have done Big Brother first, or something!)
But we do know why few Americans were interested in Hunter’s bogus memoirs. It’s because most of us don’t want to hear the story from his perspective— we want the man investigated over myriad of serious allegations.
Hunter Biden is at the center of numerous scandals involving all sorts of alleged criminal activity. It seems Americans don’t think he deserves special treatment just because his dad is Sleepy Joe.
