House GOP Moves to End Radical Biden Scheme – This Could Save Americans Billions

Recently, the House voted to block the Biden administration’s plan to release $6 billion in assets to Iran. Under Mike Johnson’s leadership, the lower chamber has been moving quickly to oppose the White House’s agenda.

But it appears they have a long way to go if they plan to undo much of Biden’s agenda.

They are now planning another vote that could strike a huge blow in Biden’s most precious plan. If they are successful, it could derail what appears to be Biden’s biggest “legacy.”

From Fox News:
The House is expected to hold a floor vote this week on legislation that would strike down pending federal regulations targeting gas-powered vehicles and prohibit any future electric vehicle (EV) mandate.

The Choice in Automobile Retail Sales (CARS) Act – introduced over the summer by Reps. Tim Walberg, R-Mich., and Andrew Clyde, R-Ga. – will be considered by the House Rules Committee on Monday before officially receiving a floor vote as soon as Tuesday. If the bill is passed, it would then be voted on by the Senate, where Republicans and Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin recently introduced companion legislation.

The House is set on a bill that would revoke Biden’s mandate against gas-powered cars. Taking a page out of leftist California’s book, Biden is trying to force strict emissions that could make most gas-powered cars illegal.

Biden has been pushing the most aggressive environmentalist agenda of any president. Many call his plans the “green new deal,” citing an extremist piece of legislation once championed by socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The president has banned drilling on federal land for oil and gas. His administration has blocked the building of oil pipelines. Many were outraged when it looked as if the White House was trying to ban gas stoves, something Biden quickly backtracked (but still appears to be pushing).

Many Biden officials have admitted to pushing strict regulations, to force Americans to switch to “green” technology. But Americans have been slow to switch to expensive–and largely less-reliable–alternative products.

In fact, many people who bought electric cars go back to gas-powered cars for their next purchase. Car makers have lost billions pushing EVs, as Americans refuse to buy them.

Key Takeaways:

  • The House plans to vote on a bill that will revoke Biden’s restrictions on gas-powered cars.
  • Biden is trying to force Americans to switch to expensive, less reliable EVs.
  • Biden’s “green” agenda has been criticized for hurting the U.S. economy.
