As many have predicted, President Donald Trump has been acquitted of this second impeachment charge.
Democrats only managed to bamboozle a handful of Republican senators to vote to convict. The vast majority of GOP lawmakers voted down their agenda.
That means, for now, the left’s attempt to block Trump from running again has failed.
Quickly, Trump responded, by releasing a statement. He also referenced his next move.
From Fox 8:
Just after the Senate voted 57-43 to acquit former President Donald Trump on the charge of inciting an insurrection, Trump released a statement saying his movement “has only just begun.”
… “In the months ahead I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people. There has never been anything like it!”
It appears Trump has no intentions of slinking away into private life. And some of his aides are hinting at big plans in the coming years.

“The future of the Republican Party is with President Trump…” – @JasonMillerinDC
After Senate voted to acquit Trump of the Democrats’ second impeachment attack, he promised that the MAGA movement has only just begun.
He also said he had “much to share” with his supporters in the coming months. Soon after, several of his supporters discussed what Trump might do in the coming years.
Jason Miller, one of Trump’s staffers, proclaimed that the future of the Republican Party is with President Trump. He is directly contradicting former allies like Nikki Haley and other RINOs, who seem to want America to forget about Trump.
But it wouldn’t come as a shock to learn that the 75 million voters who picked Trump are on Miller’s side.

Sebastian Gorka also posted a tweet with the word, “Ready?” alongside a graphic with “2024.” Gorka seems to be suggesting that Trump will return to politics for the 2024 presidential race.
Other Republicans who have spoken with Trump say he is ready to throw his considerable influence behind the 2022 midterms. Some have predicted Republicans will retake the House in that election.
And endorsements from Trump might seal the deal. Trump might stay active in politics over the next four years, in preparation for a big 2024 push.
