What’s Happening:
Liberal politicians have made clear their feelings about conservatives for decades. Some of these elitists don’t hold back in saying what they would do to conservatives if given a chance.
Famous among insulting comments from liberals is Hillary Clinton saying during the 2016 presidential election that former President Donald Trump supporters were a “basket of deplorables.” She has continued that attitude of criticism and has now taken it to another level by comparing Trump supporters to a cult.
Clinton believes that Trump supporters are so far gone that they need their minds changed – by deprogramming. She openly voiced this opinion during a recent interview.
From The Daily Wire:
“You know, because at some point, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members, but something needs to happen,” Clinton said in her classic condescending tone.
She continued her rant about Trump supporters who she called “MAGA extremists” that take their “marching orders” from Trump. She laid out what she believes is the problem – Trump himself. She said he has “no credibility left by any measure.”
The interview was an open invitation for Clinton to stir up more division among people by insulting millions of American voters who disagree with her on most political issues. She pointed out Trump’s legal issues – that he claims are election interference and unfounded political attacks – and asked, “When do they break with him?”
Clinton’s comments were met with harsh responses on social media. Fox Business host Charles Payne didn’t hold back on Clinton’s hints at plans for conservatives.
“This is beyond arrogance it scary,” Payne said. “Are re-education camps next? This could end in bloodshed.”
Clinton has a history of targeting and attacking those who disagree with her for decades. In the 1990s she vilified her critics as being part of a “vast Right-wing conspiracy.” As Payne warned, her attitude could lead to physical action against her political opponents and any suggestion like that doesn’t support the foundations of this country.
The Blaze editor-in-chief Matthew Peterson put a fine point on the attitude that Clinton and liberals brazenly discuss as they work to degrade Trump supporters.
“This is not America. This is Un-American,” Peterson said. “This is not what we believe in. These people are sick.”
Key Takeaways:
- Hillary Clinton calls for “sick” action against Trump supporters.
- She compares political opponents to members of a cult.
- Conservative leaders call her out for “scary” arrogance.
