Brave Heroism Pours Out Of Ukraine – 13 Refuse To Surrender, ‘Ghost Of Kyiv’ Helps Thwart Russia Objectives

What’s Happening:

The world watches in horror as Russia violates numerous international agreements to invade the sovereign country of Ukraine. Despite Putin’s claims, this appears to be a military operation, with the intent of overthrowing Ukraine’s rightful government. Sadly, despite big words from world leaders, not much is being done to help.

But that hasn’t stopped the people of Ukraine from fighting back. The tough people of this land refuse to let Putin walk all over them. And Russia is realizing taking Ukraine could be harder than it looks.

From Red State:

As we noted earlier, they are facing some tough fighting from the Ukrainians as well as thousands of protesters in Russia…

Ukraine fought back to recapture an airport the Russians had taken. So, Russia isn’t going to be able to do what they wanted because they haven’t met the goals they were trying to meet by now – which was to seize all the airports.

More stories of heroism keep pouring out of the country. Including one about thirteen brave Ukrainians.

From Townhall:

On Snake Island, 13 Ukrainian troops were posted there as border guards were ordered to surrender. They could have—but this is war. This is a fight for their home. And there would be no retreat. A Russian naval ship ordered them to throw down their arms. They told them to screw off—literally.

“Russian military ship, go f**k yourself,” they replied. All were all killed as a result.

And one ghost fighter showed Russia what Ukraine is made of.

From Washington Examiner:

One Ukrainian fighter pilot dubbed the “Ghost of Kyiv” has emerged as an unconfirmed heroic figure as Ukraine pushes back against invading Russian troops…

Unconfirmed reports have gone viral on Twitter, with one video getting five million views for claiming that the fighter pilot has taken out six Russian jets since President Vladimir Putin ordered a “special military operation” in the country early Thursday morning local time.

Stories are coming out of Ukraine that reveal the people of the land are refusing to give in to Putin. The military and regular folks are fighting back—showing Russia that taking this land just might be harder than it looks. Putin had claimed the rightful government of Ukraine was a fabrication and that the land rightful belonged to Russia.

But he appears to have only moved in to take over now, because of who’s in the White House. Biden’s pathetic cowering to Putin last month gave Russia the green light to invade. And while all that world leaders are offering are empty words, the people of Ukraine are doing everything they can to frustrate Putin’s plans.

Thirteen Ukrainian soldiers refused to surrender Snake Island, a strategic position. Although outmatched, they told Russia what they really thought of them. Those soldiers died, but they will not be forgotten. Other plans by Russia to take the country seem to be going slower than they expected.

That includes rumors of the “Ghost of Kyiv,” who single-handedly took down six of Putin’s fighters. The stories have not been confirmed, but they are consistent with what we know is going on in Ukraine. Regular folks have been arming themselves, ready to take out Russian troops at all costs.

We can’t predict how this conflict will end. Russia might overwhelm Ukraine in the end. The international community might fail on its obligations to stand by the country. But we do know one thing, the people of Ukraine will not surrender to Russia—even if it costs them their lives.

They know much more about liberty than Joe Biden ever will.

Key Takeaways:

  • Ukrainians are fighting back against Putin’s invasion.
  • The “Ghost of Kyiv” shot down six Russian fighters.
  • Thirteen Ukrainian soldiers died, resisting Russian demands.
