Right before the 2022 Midterms, Democrats managed to pass an “inflation” bill. Titled the “Inflation Reduction Act,” the bill had little to do with lowering inflation (as we’ve seen). The bill instead threw billions at environmental justice causes—not helping Americans put food on the table.
This bill gave the Environmental Protection Agency a huge injection of cash it was desperately craving. The EPA does little itself. Instead, it hands out grants to far-left, “green” groups.
Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito conducted an investigation on one of the grants given out by the EPA. The federal agency gave $50 million to a group called “Climate Justice Alliance.” Sounds like this group fights to protect the environment, right? Not quite.
From The Post Millennial:
US Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) announced this week that the Environmental Protection Agency awarded a $50 million grant to Climate Justice Alliance using funds from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which Democrats have touted as the biggest climate bill ever. Climate Justice Alliance “engages in pro-Hamas, anti-Israel, and anti-Semitic activities,” Capito said…“Many of us warned of the waste, fraud, and abuse. No one could have dreamed it could be this bad.”
She said that images found on the group’s website and social media depict “the bulldozer that went through the fence when Hamas attacked Israel on October the 7th,” in addition to other antisemitic, anti-Israel, and pro-Hamas imagery.
Time and again when @EPA officials come before our committee, they say “if only we had more money, more resources, more staff.”
This is what they’re spending it on?

Sen. Capito revealed the EPA gave $50 million to a radical environmentalist group called Climate Justice Alliance. Just a simple examination of the group’s website showed that it was a far-left progressive activist group that supported the destruction of Israel.
Moore showed images from the group’s website, which included the bulldozer that was used by Hamas in its horrific October 7th attack against Jewish civilians. The group also embraces the slogan, “Decolonize Palestine” something widely spread by radical anti-Israel groups.
But it gets worse than that. It looks like this group, which just got $50 million from you, embraces most of the extremist views pushed by progressives. According to Sen. Capito, they support defunding the police and defunding the military. The group’s affiliates also support initiatives the senator called “anti-American” and “anti-Semitic.”
Americans will have to wonder why the EPA didn’t see all this on the group’s website. Or, perhaps those running Biden’s EPA share the same extremist views as Climate Justice Alliance and want to use tax dollars to spread these ideas.
And we have to ask, how did any of this spending reduce inflation?
Key Takeaways:
- Funds from the Inflation Reduction Act went to a radical progressive group.
- The EPA gave $50 million to a group that spreads anti-Israel views.
- The group also wants to defund the police and the military.
