Florida Republican Plans Post-Midterm Blitz – People Like Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder “Need To Go To Jail,” Says Cammack

If Republicans manage to flip the House of Representatives in 2022, expect some big changes on Capitol Hill. The GOP is already making bold promises as most believe they’ll gain enough seats in the midterm elections.

For example, Republican leaders like Rep. Kevin McCarthy are saying they’ll launch investigations into the Biden administration. We might also see several major leadership changes.

But one GOP member claims they might go even farther.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) says that if they do reclaim control of the House, the GOP’s focus will be on “accountability.” She also says they’ll look into some of the most controversial issues, including the pandemic.

Speaking to Breitbart News at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, Cammack first went after several key Democrats.

For years, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been under the microscope. Many Republican leaders and right-wing citizens believe law enforcement needs to look more closely at the Clintons.

Rep. Cammack obviously agrees.

She’s not only looking for investigations, she’s calling for stiff consequences for people like Clinton. As she said in the interview:

When we take the House back in the 118th, first and foremost, we are going to be focused on accountability, people need to go to jail.

I’m talking about the Hillary Clintons of the world, I’m talking about the Eric Holders, I’m talking about all these people who have continued to cause strife and division, break the law, subvert the Rule of Law, and they have never been held accountable.

Perhaps the biggest thorn in Clinton’s side has been the Benghazi incident, which remains a sore point for millions of Americans.

Cammack mentioned this as well, citing Benghazi as one of the “unresolved issues” that Republicans intend to tackle. Again, it’s all contingent on whether or not they take back the House.

If it happens, though, expect some serious fireworks in Washington.

Rep. Cammack added that they’re “going to go after the origins of COVID-19” because it’s still a critical question, and one we can’t afford to ignore:

We’re going to go after the origins of COVID-19, we’re going to be looking at how we can earn the trust of the American people back.

Because for so long, there has been two standards: one for thee, and then rules for the other people that don’t have power, that aren’t well-connected.

The other topic at hand will be Afghanistan, as it’s another big part of the Republican agenda in 2022.

That agenda will immediately go into effect once the GOP retakes the House, according to Cammack: “We roll hard on executing that plan,” she said.

Rep. Cammack isn’t the first politician or lawmaker to say Hillary Clinton needs to be investigated, and maybe do jail time. Eric Holder is someone else who has been in the GOP crosshairs for a while.

And in regards to COVID and Afghanistan, America does deserve as many answers as possible.

Right now, many citizens simply don’t trust the government, and they don’t believe they’re getting all the facts from the Biden administration.

Republicans are now saying they want to bring transparency back to D.C. First things first, though: they’ve got to come through in the midterms.

Key Takeaways:

  • Florida Rep. Kat Cammack says Republicans have an ambitious agenda, which will be implemented if they retake the House.
  • This agenda includes possible jail time for people like Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder.
  • Cammack added that they intend to investigate Benghazi, the origins of the pandemic, and Afghanistan.
