Swing State Spreads Florida Movement Nationwide – New Parental Rights Bill Just Got Launched in the State of Ohio

What’s Happening:

Democrats got really upset when Florida passed a law that protected parents’ rights. For a long time, the left just expected parents to shut up and let them teach their kids anything they wanted.

But the lockdowns allowed parents to get a close look at what public schools were instructing children. And parents were not at all pleased.

Florida struck back, passing a law that protected third graders and younger. And now, another state is following in their footsteps.

From The Hill:

Two Ohio Republicans on Monday introduced a bill strikingly similar to Florida’s recently passed Parental Rights in Education law…

Under Ohio’s House Bill 616, introduced Monday by state Reps. Mike Loychik and Jean Schmidt, public kindergarten through third grade teachers would not be permitted to “teach, use, or provide any curriculum or instructional materials on sexual orientation or gender identity.”

Oh, progressive won’t be happy to hear this! Ohio is following Florida’s lead to protect children and uphold parents’ rights.

They are pushing a bill that, like Florida’s, bans the teaching of “sexual orientation” or “gender identity” to students in kindergarten through third grade.

It remains to be seen if the law can gain traction in Ohio. The state has a strong, conservative heritage. But it is considered a swing state.

That could mean there are enough Democrats in power to block this bill.

Liberals have mounted a campaign to discredit Florida’s law. They have mischaracterized it to shame the state. But they failed.

Not only that, but they got Hollywood mega-studio Disney to out itself as supporting a far-left agenda. Already, parents are dumping Disney over it.

Great job, leftists! You succeeded… in hurting your own cause.

I wouldn’t be surprised if even more states follow Florida and Ohio. Are you ready to see a bill like this in your state?

Key Takeaways:

  • Ohio Republicans are putting forward their own Parental Rights in Education bill.
  • The bill follows a law signed by Florida’s governor, banning sexual and gender material in 3rd grade or lower.
  • Democrats were outraged by this bill, revealing their true colors.
