Millions of nervous gun owners woke up this morning with a sigh of relief after a new protection order was issued against Biden’s tyranny.
Yet, millions of other gun owners may not realize they woke up this morning as potential criminals. Law-abiding citizens across America could now be labeled within a new class of felons.
The tyrannical, anti-Constitution actions by President Joe Biden and his federal enforcement squads is simply stunning. And it never ends.
All people want to do in this country is live free and enjoy their God-given rights protected under the U.S. Constitution. This especially applies to gun owners and the Second Amendment.
All Biden can think about – during his moments of mental clarity – is how to take away the rights of American citizens.
A federal judge in Texas saw right through Biden’s power-hungry mental moment. And this judge put a stop to one of Biden’s favorite bully-pulpit agencies.
Multiple pro-Second Amendment organizations joined with the state of Texas to fight Biden’s anti-gun rule.
As reported by Fox News, “Judge Drew B. Tipton of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas on Wednesday granted a preliminary injunction against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) partially preventing the agency from enforcing its new stabilizing-brace rule. The order came on the deadline before the rule goes into effect in response to a lawsuit filed by Gun Owners of America (GOA), the Gun Owners Foundation and the State of Texas.”
This “pistol brace” rule took affect today, June 1. Gun owners across the country woke up to a new day when the federal government was setting up mass gun confiscation. All because someone has a plastic brace on their “scary looking” pistol.
GOA and Texas joined this fight against Biden and secured the second injunction against the ATF this week. Both court wins are good news, but it’s not the end of the fight. These injunctions are partial and only apply to the plaintiffs in the case. These are not nationwide injunctions.
Isn’t it amazing that federal judges can place nationwide injunctions against the past president for halting the flood of illegal foreigners, but today’s federal judges won’t fully protect American citizens from Biden’s tyranny?
Still, Judge Tipton set the stage for a strong case against the federal government’s overreach against gun owners.
Two key points to remember are: the injunction shows the judge believes the plaintiffs may win the lawsuit and Texas’ joining the fight increases the pressure against the federal government.
Texas claimed that the pistol brace rule, according to Fox, will inflict compliance costs on Texas police who own previously legal handguns with stabilizing braces and must now expend resources to register those weapons. In his ruling, Tipton agreed and declared that Texas had established standing to sue ATF and “has sufficiently shown that it will suffer irreparable harm absent a preliminary injunction enjoining the enforcement of the Final Rule.”
This latest injunction is a massive win for anyone who legally purchased pistols over the last decade. Keep in mind, pistol braces were previously approved by the ATF. This rule – not a law authorized by Congress – was an arbitrary reclassification in ATF policy that is purely an attempt by Biden and his federal minions to attack law-abiding gun owners. This tyrant has sworn to take away guns from Americans.
The ATF has noted that there are 3 million or more guns with stabilizing braces in America – guns that the ATF has said for years were completely legal. Other estimates place the number of these guns at a far greater number somewhere between 10 and 40 million.
Biden’s pistol brace rule – backed by the heavily armed enforcers at the ATF – is the largest, most widespread attempt to confiscate Americans’ guns.
“This assault on millions of Americans was just the latest example of President Biden trying to weaponize the DOJ against law-abiding gun owners, and we doubt it will be the last,” GOA Senior Vice President Erich Pratt said in a statement.
Gun owners need to take notice of these court battles against the ATF and Biden. Think about the guns you own and check to see if you have one with a stabilizing brace.
