Did you think Hunter Biden’s problems would go away, once Biden entered office? I’m sure that is what many Americans believed.
But, against all odds, that does not appear to be the case.
While Joe might be pretty fed up with Hunters’ actions, it doesn’t seem like he is trying to interfere.
The allegations floating around might end up hurting Joe himself. He would have good reason to shut them all down.
As it turns out, however, the FBI continues to hunt down Hunter.
From Fox News:
The federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s “tax affairs” is “active and ongoing,” two sources familiar with the status of the probe told Fox News.
The sources told Fox News that those involved in the investigation, which is being run out of the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware, are “treating it seriously.”
According to the FBI, investigations into Hunter Biden’s “tax affairs” continue to be ongoing. They even said that the White House has not tried to interfere in any way.
That might not be the case forever, of course. If the FBI does find questionable evidence that could lead to an indictment, Biden just might want to intervene.
After all, what father wouldn’t want to protect his son (especially if said son’s actions could hurt his administration)?
All this might change, if Biden’s nomination for AG is confirmed. Merrick Garland claims that he would not jeopardize the investigation—but that was when he was trying to get the job.
Things could change, as soon as he’s given power.
But the fact that Biden is unwilling to interfere does not mean justice will ultimately be done. Maybe Biden is just confident that the FBI won’t find anything—or that they aren’t looking very hard.
Unless Republicans have some kind of say in the matter, Hunter might never have his day in court.
- The FBI says their investigation into Hunter Biden is ongoing.
- They say the White House has not tried to interfere.
- Biden has been under scrutiny over tax issues and other scandals.
