Democrats seem to rely on speed to get their agenda rammed through. The longer it takes for them to get anything done, the more likely Americans get a better look at it.
And that often means Americans find things in the left’s plans they do not like.
That was the case with impeachment and now, Democrats’ radical $1.9 trillion spending plan.
Democrats on Capitol Hill are hoping they can shove this thing through before anyone realizes what they are paying for.
But one Democrat was grilled over the considerable pork that is in the bill. And he was forced to cop to it.
Democrat Congressman Adriano Espaillat conceded that he’s “not comfortable” with the level of Dem leader pet project spending in the $1.9 trillion bill, when he appeared on CNN on 2/25/2021.
When asked about the “pet projects” being added to the spending bill, Democrat Adriano Espaillat was forced to admit he wasn’t happy about it.
He said he was “not comfortable” with how much taxpayer dollars are going towards Pelosi’s liberal agenda.
Remember, this bill is supposed to provide further relief for Americans from the COVID pandemic. Instead, tremendous amounts of money will be going towards things unrelated to the virus.
Democrats promised big payments to Americans. But they’ve already backed out on that promise, potentially only giving out $1,400 checks to some Americans.
Other big-ticket expenses will be going to the left’s personal holy grails like Planned Parenthood.
Missing from the relief bill, as Susan Collins pointed out, is funding for nursing homes–which were hit considerably hard by the pandemic.
At the height of the COVID panic, Democrats shut down schools, houses of worship, and businesses. Today, they appear to be doing little to reverse the damage they caused.
Instead, they want to squander away trillions of your tax dollars on projects that will do nothing to bring back jobs, turn around ailing industries, or help your child’s education.
Even Espaillat had to admit, on CNN, that there was too much pork in this “relief” bill.
Republicans are fighting to prevent much of this from going through. But they need the support of moderate Democrats to stand up to Pelosi and her radical scheme.
Will that happen?
- Democrats’ $1.9 trillion bill will spend money on projects unrelated to COVID.
- Democrat Adriano Espaillat admitted he was “uncomfortable” with the excessive spending.
- Pelosi is rushing through the process to spend cash on her pet projects.
