Elon’s Hostile Takeover Sparks Liberal Twitter Meltdown – Except For Its Founder Dorsey, Saying It’s A ‘Correct First Step’

What’s Happening:

News came out yesterday that Elon Musk owns Twitter. Many Americans celebrated, hoping this means good things for the social network.

Liberals, on the other hand, were not happy.

From Red State:

Prior to the press release issued by Twitter confirming that the “definitive agreement” was in the works, certain prominent “woketivists” were issuing frantic calls to action of sorts to their fellow wokesters warning, without evidence, that a Musk takeover supposedly would ensure that “white nationalism” would reign supreme on the platform.

But as many leftists panic over the possible end of Twitter censorship, its co-founder issues a startling statement.

From The Western Journal:

“I love Twitter. Twitter is the closest thing we have to a global consciousness,” he wrote in the first of a series of tweets Monday night after Musk purchased the social media giant…

“In principle, I don’t believe anyone should own or run Twitter. It wants to be a public good at a protocol level, not a company. Solving for the problem of it being a company however, Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness,” he said.

Liberals melted down over the news that Elon Musk bought Twitter. The billionaire promised that Twitter would improve, becoming a free speech platform.

Apparently, the leftists who use and run Twitter do not want people who think differently than them to have an open platform. They flipped out, making wild accusations about what this meant for the company.

What this means is that leftists can no longer spread hate and slander against conservatives and get away with it. It means people can freely speak without fear of censorship, the founding principle of the First Amendment.

Even Twitter’s co-founder, Jack Dorsey, was happy about Musk’s purchase. He believed this would free Twitter from the control of corporate globalists inside Wall Street. It appears his vision for the company was for it to always be an “inclusive” platform.

Odd that it never was while he was in charge of it, nor the man he chose to replace him as CEO.

But now, Musk could turn the ship around, making Twitter a fun and valuable network.

Key Takeaways:

  • Liberals panicked after Elon Musk purchased Twitter.
  • Co-founder Jack Dorsey claimed it was a good thing, countering critics.
  • Twitter previously censored users who disagreed with woke” ideology.
