As we all sit anxiously at home, we’re all wondering the same thing:
When is this going to be over?
If you listen to alarmists, they’ll tell you it could last many months. And at the very least, we’ve got several more weeks of “social distancing.”
But one New York doctor says she sees a light at the end of the tunnel … and it might not be too far off.
Fox News contributor and NYC doctor Janette Nesheiwat believes we’re about to reach a turning point.
And though we’re in for a painful few weeks – as President Trump said yesterday – there IS an end in sight.
These days, we could all use a dose of hope and optimism!
As Dr. Nesheiwat said on “Bill Hemmer Reports”:
So it makes sense, it feels right that maybe it’s two weeks, maybe three weeks we’re going to hit the peak, and I think that’s a good thing because that means after that peak, after we reach that apex it’s going to go downhill from there.
In this case, “downhill” is an encouraging word.
From a medical perspective, hitting the peak of any epidemic is a good sign — it means things have to start coming down afterward.
And when Hemmer asked, “Do you see an end in sight,” Dr. Nesheiwat replied:
I do, I absolutely do.
I feel we are at the point where we’re getting all the resources and the support that we need whether it’s supplies, whether it’s staff, whether it’s the space to have to put patients.
We got that ship. When I saw that ship pull up, I got chilled and I got teary-eyed because I felt that we are now getting all the tools that we need to help take care of our patients.
Finally, a voice of hope and reason in these trying times!
However, the doctor did say that until the “downhill” part hits, everyone should continue to follow the pandemic guidelines.
In other words, stay home and take care of yourself.
If we do this successfully, and we remain vigilant and responsible, Dr. Nesheiwat said “there will be light at the end of the tunnel.”
And that’s exactly what we’re all waiting for!
We’ve got some good news about the epidemic for once! So please SHARE with your friends and family!
