Devastating Jobs Report Comes Out As Early Voting Begins

The Biden-Harris administration promised an economic revival. What we got was a mess. Prices are through the roof, and inflation has squeezed every dollar. Gas? Sky-high. Groceries? Don’t even ask. It’s clear: the Biden-Harris economy is failing Americans. Families are struggling to make ends meet, and the so-called “Build Back Better” agenda has left us with empty wallets and a bleak future.

They promised good-paying jobs, but what they delivered is far from it. Wages aren’t keeping up with inflation, and job growth has fallen short. More and more Americans are losing confidence in this economy, and it’s no wonder. The administration’s policies have prioritized woke agendas over common sense, leaving working Americans to pick up the tab. Now, a new report has sunk Harris’ claims of success. And it’s came out just as early voting begins.

From Breitbart:
U.S. job growth was significantly weaker than expected in August and job growth in prior months was revised down, suggesting that the labor market is even weaker than it looks.

The economy added 142,000 jobs, the Labor Department said on Friday.

Economists had forecast 160,000 jobs for the month.

The prior month’s jobs estimate was revised down from 114,000 to 89,000 and the June figure was revised down by 60,000 to just 118,000.

Take the most recent job report, for instance. U.S. job growth in August was a disaster. According to the Labor Department, the economy added just 142,000 jobs—far less than the 160,000 expected by economists. And that’s not even the worst part. Previous months’ numbers were quietly revised down. July’s job growth dropped from an already low 114,000 to a meager 89,000. June’s numbers were also slashed, with the 60,000 jobs disappearing into thin air, leaving us with only 118,000 added.

Unemployment ticked down to 4.2 percent from 4.3 percent, but that’s hardly a victory. The labor force participation rate—the real measure of how many people are actually working—has been stuck at 62.7 percent for the past year. While wages may have seen a slight bump, increasing by 14 cents to $35.21 an hour, it’s nowhere near enough to keep pace with rising costs of living.

And let’s talk about the private sector, which added 118,000 jobs—well below the expected 136,000. July’s numbers were revised down as well, from 97,000 to a dismal 74,000. This is not the strong job market that Biden and Harris promised. It’s a weak economy hobbling along, with small gains being chipped away by rising prices and stagnant participation.

Manufacturing took a particularly hard hit, shedding 24,000 jobs in August. This is six times more than economists anticipated. While July’s numbers were revised up to reflect an addition of 6,000 manufacturing jobs, the overall picture is clear: this sector, once the backbone of America, is faltering under this administration.

The Biden-Harris administration loves to boast about their economic wins, but the numbers tell a different story. Job growth is weak, wages aren’t keeping up with inflation, and the American worker is being left behind. While they focus on their progressive priorities, real Americans are paying the price—literally.

It’s time to face the facts. This economy isn’t working for anyone except the elites. The middle class is bearing the brunt of these failed policies. Biden and Harris might talk a big game, but the truth is, under their watch, America’s economic engine is sputtering.

Key Takeaways:

  • Job growth is weak: August added only 142,000 jobs, missing expectations, and previous months’ numbers were revised down.
  • Manufacturing is struggling: The sector lost 24,000 jobs in August, far worse than expected.
  • Wages aren’t keeping up: While hourly wages rose slightly, inflation continues to outpace earnings, leaving Americans struggling.
