Boy, Gov. DeSantis just keeps giving Democrats reasons to hate him! The Republican leader has battled the radical left for years, ever since he was elected in 2018. He’s been so successful in Florida, that he’s actually beaten Disney–and won a landslide re-election victory.
But it doesn’t look as if he’s done yet. DeSantis scored big wins to protect parents and children in our public schools. He’s shut down the left’s attempts at spreading propaganda and “grooming.” Now, he is ensuring all Floridians are safe, no matter where they are.

The U.S. now has a majority of states with constitutional carry laws on the books after Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law Monday that eliminates the requirement for an individual to obtain a permit to carry a concealed firearm.
Woah. Thanks to Gov. DeSantis, a majority of U.S. states now have concealed carry laws on the books. DeSantis signed a bill into law allowing residents 21 or older to carry a firearm without a government permit. The law doesn’t change who is eligible to obtain a carry permit. Residents can still obtain a permit if they choose.
But now, law-abiding citizens will be able to carry a concealed firearm, without having to beg the government to do so. This means, Florida residents can ensure their families’ safety. No longer are Floridians sitting ducks for criminals to exploit.
How many crooks will want to mug or hurt a Florida resident, now that they know they might be carrying? This law puts a chilling factor on would-be criminals. They now have to come to terms with the fact that their target might be packing heat.
Compare that with the 24 states that deny Americans the right to conceal carry. Criminals in those states know that few of their victims are armed, because of the difficulty of obtaining a permit. And in some states, you can’t even get a permit.
As we’ve often seen, gun control laws only empower criminals. Would-be killers attack law-abiding citizens, safe in the knowledge that they won’t shoot back. But no longer in Florida. Criminals better think twice before they try to mug a woman on the street. She just might have something they don’t like.
