What’s Happening:

It’s no secret Democrats are terrified over the 2022 midterms. Polling and other signs point to massive losses for their party.

But there is a bigger problem looming on the horizon: 2024.

Joe Biden is polling so badly, that there is little chance he can win re-election. So, what is a corrupt party like the Democrats to do?

Oh, just destroy a major part of our electoral process to cheat!

The House’s Jan. 6 committee has split behind the scenes over what actions to take after the public hearings: Some members want big changes on voting rights — and even to abolish the Electoral College — while others are resisting proposals to overhaul the U.S. election system, Axios has learned.

How convenient. A party that knows it’s going to lose big in the next few elections is considering eliminating the Electoral College.

The Electoral College was created by our founding fathers to safeguard the voice of each and every state.

If we get rid of it, only states with the largest populations, like New York and California, will decide presidential elections.

That’s an attractive possibility to Democrats, who dominate those crime-infested regions.

But every other state will be boxed out of the very process guaranteed to them by the Constitution.

Democrats are fooling themselves, though, if they think abolishing the EC is going to help them.

We don’t know what the outcome would be in presidential elections, if we get rid of the EC. Campaigns have been run in the knowledge that candidates have to win as many states as possible.

But if we get rid of the EC, then both parties would focus only on a few places, leaving out the rest of the county.

I doubt even liberal states would like that. But when have Democrats ever thought through their ideas?
