It’s been a rough November for the Democratic Party. Heading into Election Day, they thought they had most of their races won.

Unfortunately for them, however, this could not have been further from the truth. Republicans didn’t just take back the presidency when Donald Trump trounced their beloved Kamala Harris in both the Electoral College and the popular vote.

Indeed, Republicans also won both the Senate and the House. This was a clear referendum on the entire Democratic Party. With this vote, the American people let Democrats know that we have had enough of their nonsense.

In the days since then, the Democratic Party has descended into chaos. Now, new reports are indicating that a civil war of sorts has broken out between progressive Democrats and the establishment members of the party.

The Justice Democrats, a progressive group known for backing insurgent primary challengers like radical “Squad” member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, are planning to reignite their campaign against establishment Democrats ahead of the 2026 midterms, according to an interview with Salon published Sunday.

The group, critical of the Democratic Party’s leadership after its crushing 2024 losses, aims to field primary challengers in safe blue districts who they claim have failed to represent working-class constituents.

“It’s time to clean up shop in the Democratic Party, frankly,” Usamah Andrabi, a spokesman for the group, told the magazine. Andrabi criticized the party’s inability to deliver significant victories in 2024, citing a misalignment between its establishment’s strategies and the needs of its voter base.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Justice Democrats is the group that played a crucial role in getting radical liberals like “Squad” members Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) elected to Congress. Their goal is to put more far-left progressives in power in districts held by Democrats who they feel aren’t doing enough to serve their communities.

In other words, centrist Democrats who dare to prioritize common sense over wokeness.

Democrats Accused Of Catering To Billionaires

Andrabi went on to accuse the Democratic Party of catering to billionaires over working class Americans.

“For so long the Democratic Party has tried to be a big tent that somehow includes the working class and the billionaire class and that says it fights for the interests of the working class,” he said. “We continue to allow our party to align ourselves with the wealthiest few and everyday people are beginning to take notice.”

“There are members of this party that we are not going to be able to convince to actually stand up for working people,” he added.

Ah, there’s nothing quite like liberal infighting!

The Democrat establishment made a huge mistake in catering to the radically liberal side of their party in the first place. Indeed, nothing will ever be enough for the far-left. As soon as they’re given what they want, they move the goal posts even further left and start demanding more.

Many would argue that it’s the woke, radically liberal side of the party that caused the bulk of American voters to lose all faith in Democrats. Millions of Americans have been struggling just to put food on the table in Biden-Harris’ America. The American people want lawmakers in place who will actually step up to turn the economy around, not crazed leftists who focus all of their energy on wokeness.

We can only hope that this civil war amongst Democrats will escalate in the months and years to come. The more Democrats focus on fighting with each other, the better off the rest of us are!
