Democrat, Found Guilty For Leaking Classified Information, Announces Run For Senate

SOCIAL: In short, a traitor is running for public office. And Liberals are allowing her to run.

You may remember the one-time man who was convicted for leaking documents while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

President Obama commuted the traitor’s sentence, which was one of the last terrible decisions he made before leaving office.

Chelsea Manning, formerly known as Army soldier and traitor Bradley Manning, has since tried to gain more attention by becoming a transgender “activist.” But she’s hardly an icon, yet. The social media “star” seems to burn bridges wherever she goes.  Because let’s be honest: when you leak classified information and are found guilty of it, you’re hardly popular.

But now, defying all odds and common sense, this activist thinks she is a good fit for the U.S. Senate.

From Town Hall:

Chelsea Manning, convicted traitor and transgender activist, confirmed Sunday morning that she will be running for the U.S. Senate, hoping to earn the Maryland Democratic nomination in the 2018 election.

In September, Manning caused controversy after Harvard University rescinded her inivtation for a prestigious Harvard Fellow position. On the left, Manning is regaled in some circles a heroic whistle blower. The Federalist’s Senior Writer and co-author of End of Discussion, Mary Katharine Ham, wrote at the time that “[Manning] was found guilty in 2010 on 20 of 22 counts in Seven years into a 35-year sentence, Manning received a commutation from President Obama. During the trial and sentencing, Manning’s lawyers blamed Manning’s gender dysphoria for leading to his crimes, and in 2016 then-Bradley Manning declared in a commutation application, “I am Chelsea Manning, a proud woman who is transgender and who, through this application, is respectfully requesting a first chance at life.” Since then, Manning has been feted by elite society as a symbol of trans heroism and overcoming hardship.”

Today, she released a campaign video on Twitter after media speculation that she was considering a run for the  U.S. Senate. In it, Manning is seen looking off into the distance, describing a system of government engulfed in “fear”, “suppression”, and “hate.” The video also features Manning’s trademark use of peculiar emojis.

Nothing says leadership and vision, like a bunch of emojis! I mean, Manning doesn’t even want to start in local government. Or at least, a junior seat in the House. Jumping right into the Senate, girl? You’re more delusional than we thought!

Manning thinks a tarnished reputation won’t stifle her aspirations. Being a transgender is not enough to win over the electorate, Manning. You might have a following online of young people. But I doubt they are going to flock to the polls to support you.

Manning’s reasons for running are more of the empty garbage liberals spew every day. She’s throwing around trigger words like “fear” and “hate,” as if they are a magic mantra that will give her leftist cred. But the reality is, she doesn’t stand a chance of winning a public seat.

The real reason she’s running is no secret. She is running out of reasons to stay in the public eye. This stunt will get her a few more mentions on blogs and social accounts. Even though she doesn’t have a snowball’s chance to win, at least we’re talking about her, right?

Perhaps this will be a chapter in her soon-to-be written memoirs. She can lose an election and blame society for not accepting her. Another notch in her victim-hood status.

If that makes you sick, then newsflash: that’s the left in modern America.
