After ‘Defund the Police’ Councilman Jumped By 4 Thieves – They Make Off With His Personal Vehicle

What’s Happening:

Has there been a movement more ridiculous than “Defund the Police”?

Far-left Democrats have marched, petitioned, and even rioted to punish good cops because of a few bad ones.

What did they think was going to happen–if cops were defunded or even abolished? Did they think all those violent criminals would just put down their guns and start babysitting?

Obviously, these progressives haven’t thought their own agenda through. That was certainly one anti-police advocate in Atlanta.

Because he just was a victim of an awful crime. And guess who was there to help him?

From Fox News:

Councilman Antonio Brown was attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony at an event in northeast Atlanta around noon when at least four kids jumped into his car and took off, FOX 5 of Atlanta reported…

Last year, he voted in support of an ordinance to withhold $73 million from the budget of the Atlanta Police Department. The ordinance was narrowly voted down.

How ironic. An Atlanta politician—who might want to run for mayor—was robbed in broad daylight, during a public event.

It doesn’t speak well for your district when kids can steal your car right in front of you.

This man pushed to defund Atlanta cops by $73 million last year. That much money taken from the DP would have a dire impact on the city.

Yet this Democrat didn’t even bat an eye when he supported it–although the measure was voted down.

Today, though, he might be rethinking his agenda. For criminals to jack his car, without fear of being caught, should be enough to help him realize the error of his ways.

But we’re not holding our breath.

From coast to coast, we see the terrible fallout of radical, left-wing plans. That includes defunding the police.

But have Democrats or voters changed their ways? Nope. Many of them ignore the crises all around them, or pretend like it’s no big deal.

The only solution, it seems, is to make sure these radical progressives get nowhere near the government.

Key Takeaways:

  • A defund the police support had his car stolen in broad daylight.
  • The Atlanta councilman tried to defund the police by $73 million last year.
  • He was robbed as he was participating in a ceremony outside.
