We all know the problems with modern polling. Most of the time, they should be taken with a grain of salt.
But when they all start trending at the same time in one direction (after a major event), then they’re worth looking at.
August saw both the DNC and RNC. After both events, new polls have emerged, including national polls, polls of independents and minorities, and polls of swing states.
And they’re all moving one way:
Joe Biden’s lost ground since the close of the Democratic National Convention, and he and President Trump are now running neck-and-neck in the latest Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey.
President Trump’s support among black voters rose 9 percentage points amid the Republican National Convention, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
According to the latest monthly Democracy Institute (DI)/ Sunday Express poll President Trump has 48 percent of the popular support over former Vice President Biden’s 45 percent.
In the key swing states the gap is even bigger with 49 percent for Trump to 42 percent for Biden.
Since 2016, we’ve seen how mainstream media polls or liberal-leaning polls can give a Democrat candidate a big advantage.
From all appearances, major polls haven’t changed their methods. So, for many of them to give Donald Trump a lead over Biden is telling.
Many believe that several factors are hurting Joe Biden. First, was his running mate pick. Kamala Harris has not proven to be giving the campaign a boost.
Then there was the DNC, which many criticized as being gloomy and miserable and lacking in any hard policy.
Then, we can’t forget the endless riots in blue cities. Even longtime voting Democrats have turned on their party, outraged that the left refuses to end the chaos.
It seems that people from all corners are ditching Biden for Trump. Even a large percentage of black voters are getting behind the Trump banner.
It’s getting so bad, that even Michael Moore is flipping his lid:
Sorry to have to provide the reality check again, but when they poll registered voters in the swing states, Biden & Trump are in a virtual tie. In Minn. it’s 47-47. In Michigan, where Biden had a big lead, Trump has closed the gap to 4pts. Are u ready for a Trump victory? ACT NOW
