Just Days Before Christmas, California Surrenders To The Supreme Court – L.A. Is Finally Letting Churches Meet Inside

What’s Happening:

In recent weeks, the Supreme Court has upheld the religious rights of Americans, in the face of COVID restrictions. In cases from both Colorado and New Jersey, the court has ruled that restrictions made by the states should be struck down.

This has allowed churches to meet, something Democrats have tried to deny them, over COVID “concerns.”

(They don’t seem all that concerned with the pot shops, liquor stores, and strip clubs they let stay open.)

After these significant rulings by the Supreme Court, LA County just made a change. Just in time for Christmas. From Fox News:

Los Angeles County reversed its ban against indoor religious services just days before Christmas following a Supreme Court ruling that sided with a southern California church that challenged the state’s coronavirus restrictions on places of worship…

Under the revised order, places of worship must also assure that attendance does not exceed the number of people who can be accommodated while maintaining a physical distance of six feet between separate households, the county health department said.

LA County reversed a rule banning indoor church services after the Supreme Court repeatedly sided with religious Americans.

Pretty odd how, according to the Supreme Court, Democrats forbade the free exercise of religion during the pandemic, even though it is protected by the First Amendment, huh?

Yet they allowed many businesses to stay open—despite the fact, there is no specific constitutional right protecting liquor stores.

It seems like Democrats’ priorities are showing, huh? No church, but you gotta get that booze, eh Newsom?

Democrats shut down churches because they appeared not to consider them essential. Imagine that. The county faced an epic crisis—and at a time we need faith and guidance the most our government shut down houses of worship.

That’s not only disgusting, but according to the Supreme Court, it broke the law.

The Supreme Court has been frequently taking up cases defending the First Amendment this year. Many more, perhaps, than we’ve ever seen.

At least now, churches in LA County can actually gather and celebrate the holiday.

Are you glad Trump fought for a conservative Supreme Court?

Key Takeaways:

  • LA County reversed an indoor church ban, after a Supreme Court ruling.
  • The court has continued to uphold the religious rights of Americans.
