Biden claimed, during his candidacy, that people need to understand how important Congress is. It seems he was suggesting Trump ignored Congress to force his agenda through.
I guess that means Biden was going to lead, by relying on Congress to pass bills—as the Constitution demands?
Nope! Biden has only been in office for about a week and he has been defying his own words left and right.
And he’s snubbed Congress in the most aggressive way.
From Fox News:
President Biden has signed more than three dozen executive orders, actions and directives since he took office just 9 days ago…
Biden, by the end of his ninth day at the White House, had signed 40 executive orders, actions, and presidential memorandum — a record.
Biden has signed 40 executive orders and actions in just nine days. That’s more than just a record. That’s more than what the last four presidents signed in their first week, combined.
Executive orders are directed at federal agencies, but they often carry the weight of law. They are meant to clarify policy and give agencies direction.
They are not meant to replace legislation, which requires cooperation between all three branches of our government.
Joe Biden the “moderate” has ignored Congress to ram through a long list of demands. Even Democrats are shocked at how he’s circumvented our lawmakers.
So far, Biden has killed 11,000 jobs, crippled the fossil fuel industry, and given away billions. And it’s not even February yet.
Meanwhile, Congress fiddles in front of this fire, wasting time with the impeachment nonsense.
If Congress was smart, they’d band together and pass legislation to rein in Biden’s mania. Even if he vetoes it, 2/3rds of Congress can put him in his place.
But I doubt that will ever happen.
Do you think Congress should put Joe in his place?
- Joe Biden has signed 40 executive orders in just 9 days.
- Critics accuse the man of trying to circumvent Congress.
- Even Democrats are shocked at his aggressive agenda.
