Only a liar would say this indictment of Donald Trump wasn’t about the election. Democrats are terrified of the thought that Trump will return to office. They impeached him twice, for crying out loud! They have launched numerous investigations against him. And, despite what appears to be a lack of solid evidence, they took the insane step to indict a former president.
Over what? Payments to a has-been actress he didn’t make? It’s clear the left is doing this to prevent Trump from winning the election. But what happens if a person is indicted for a crime and is even convicted (if, say, a radical judge decides to manipulate the trial)? Well, bad news for the left, this can’t even stop Trump.

A Manhattan grand jury voted on Thursday to indict Trump. The Constitution does not contain any provision barring someone who has been indicted or even convicted from becoming president.
Ouch! Despite all the left has done, despite all it took to get them here, even if they convict Trump, he can still win the 2024 Election and serve in office. The Constitution does not say anything about a convicted person from running for president or serving if elected.
Obviously, Democrats are hoping it doesn’t get that far. Their agenda seems to be to stir up enough dirt on Trump, so he doesn’t even win the GOP primaries. And if he does, he is sure to lose in the general election–if he is indicted and convicted of some crime.
Democrats are putting all their chips on the dishonest media and manipulative social media. They need the narrative to go their way, so regardless of how this farce of an indictment goes, Americans will turn on Trump.
Is that going to work? Hopefully not. Voters much decide for themselves whom they want elected. But Democrats are clearly trying to interfere in the election, by scaring voters away from Trump.
Are we really going to let them do that? Are we really going to let the left manipulate our democracy this way?
