Court Delivers Major Decision in Antifa Case – Radical Leftists Finally Get Their Punishment

What’s Happening:

You might not remember what happened on June 29, 2019, in Portland, Oregon. A freelance reporter, Andy Ngo, was covering one of many Antifa protests that took place in the leftist city. Ngo was a noted liberal journalist, in no way promoting conservative ideals. But that didn’t stop members of Rose City Antifa from turning on him.

These radical activists attacked Ngo with “milkshakes” filled with cement. He was then beaten by some of these “freedom fighters” with plywood hard-edged signs and punched and kicked. Some of those attacking him wore carbon-hardened tactical gloves. His injuries were so severe, that he was admitted to the hospital for severe brain damage. It has been many years of Ngo fighting for justice against his attackers. And, even in the leftist dystopia of Oregon, some justice was just served.

From The Post Millennial:

The court ruled in favor of Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo on Monday in his civil trial against the remaining three alleged Antifa defendants that had physically attacked him in June 2019 in Portland, Oregon.

Defendants Corbyn “Katherine” Belyea, Madison “Denny” Lee Allen, and Sammich Overkill Schott-Deputy were found liable by Judge Sinaplasai for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Each defendant has been ordered to pay Ngo $100,000 in damages.

This is a big win for Ngo, after his severe and extensive trauma. Previously, other Antifa members accused of attacking him got off, after it came out that their lawyers had threatened the jury. Why wasn’t there a mistrial and a new trial set up? You’ll have to ask the radical court system of Oregon.

This time, there was no jury. The judge ruled that because some of these defendants had refused to respond to any summons, did not appear in court, and did not acquire legal counsel, they would face the penalty for their crimes.

Ngo had to seek justice through expensive civil suits, as it appears none of the Antifa members who attacked him faced criminal charges. It seems this radical group thrives in the state because law enforcement refuses to hold them accountable.

One of the persons ruled against in this trial has a long history of criminal activity and had served prison sentences in New York and Oregon for other acts. The others simply refused to show up.

Ngo was brutally beaten for simply covering Antifa activity. In addition to medical expenses, he had to provide security for himself and his family, thanks to ongoing threats. He had to undergo physical and cognitive rehab. And he continues to suffer from PTSD.

Why aren’t more Americans outraged about this? Why aren’t both Republicans and Democrats demanding justice for this man?

Because Antifa has become a protected class, among the left. They are often shielded from their criminal behavior and nearly get away with murder. Hopefully, this ruling will set a precedent that nobody in this country is above the law.

Key Takeaways:

  • Three of the Antifa members who attacked Andy Ngo faced penalties in court.
  • A judge ruled that each of them had to pay damages of $100,000.
  • Ngo, a reporter, was brutally beaten in 2019 by Antifa thugs.
