If things don’t go Trump’s way over the next few days in Congress, he won’t be staying in the White House on January 20.
What will his plans be? Traditionally, an outgoing president will be attending the inauguration of the next president. But considering what Trump has said about this election, we doubt he will happily watch Sleepy Joe get sworn in.
Rumors suggest he will hold a rally on that day to announce another campaign bid. Now, more rumors claim he will be outside the country.
From Daily Wire:
A new report out of the United Kingdom says President Donald Trump may be planning to take a claim trip to Scotland on Jan. 19…
Speculation surrounding Trump’s plans has been fueled by the activity of US Army aircraft, which were based at Prestwick airport for a week and said to be carrying out 3D reconnaissance of the president’s Turnberry resort.
There are no official words about what Trump might do, come January 20. But some rumors claim that a 757, which is occasionally used by Trump, will be flying to Scotland on January 19.
This is fueled claims that Trump will be leaving the U.S. the day before the Inauguration, to enjoy golfing at a Turnberry resort.
Over the years, the media has always been quick to jump on rumors and “leaks” to predict the president’s moves. Often, they are wrong or have been played for fools.
Is this one of those times? We won’t put it past the media to spread this line, to suggest Trump is already planning to pack it in.
But would Trump leave the country so soon after leaving office, suggesting he is—in away—abandoning America?
We can’t say for sure.
Do you think Trump should attend the Inauguration, kick off another rally, play golf, or do something else?
