Woke School Counselor Just Got Arrested – She’s Accused of Committing 1 Despicable Crime

It has become one of the most hotly debated issues of the day: how teachers interact with our children in schools, and the role they play in their development.

Over the past few years, American parents have become increasingly concerned that the power of educators has gone too far. They also don’t agree with the more questionable aspects of these liberal curricula.

And after they hear this story, they’re likely to trust schools and teachers even less.

A former Arizona high school counselor has been arrested and accused of one particularly disturbing crime. As it turns out, she has a far-left past that also involves helping illegal residents get free education.

This comes from a police report filed against Zobella Brazil Vinik, a 29-year-old who is facing very serious accusations involving a teenage student.

The Tucson Police Department’s Child Sexual Assault Unit launched an investigation into Vinik on May 3, after they received a claim that the former counselor had an “inappropriate relationship” with a 15-year-old student.

Here’s the following statement from Tucson Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo (via The Blaze):

On May 4th, 2022, detectives from the Tucson Police Department Sexual Assault Unit informed the administration of Tucson High Magnet School of an ongoing investigation into one of its counselors, Zobella Brazil Vinik.

The administration was informed of an alleged inappropriate relationship between the counselor and a 15-year-old student from Tucson High.

After they got the news, the school district put Vinik on administrative leave and started its own investigation.

However, the accused didn’t wait for the results: she resigned from her position and is no longer employed by the Tucson Unified School District. And right now, a lot of parents are relieved she’s gone.

Vinik is facing one serious count of sexual misconduct with a minor, and has been booked into the Pima County Jail.

Here’s part of the report from KVOA:

TPD said Vinik’s ex-wife told law enforcement officials that the couple have been allowing the 15-year-old to live with them in their home.

She reported that the 29-year-old and the 15-year-old have been co-sleeping together and she recently found Vinik’s ‘underwear hidden under a pillow on the bed’ the student had been sleeping in.

Police added that detectives found “probable cause to arrest the school counselor.”

Zobella’s far-left history also quickly came to light: she ran the school’s “Q Space” program, in which students learn about LGBTQIA+ history, and she even helped organize the first-ever student drag show at Tucson High Magnet School.

On top of that, she had been a “community advocate” who led a group that tried to make university education “accessible to all students regardless of immigration status.”

Essentially, that means getting undocumented U.S. residents into college without requiring they become a citizen.

None of this reflects well on far-left leaders, many of which are accused of twisting and damaging our youth.

And when one of these far-left advocates gets arrested for such a heinous crime, it seems like more proof that these people absolutely should not be around children.

Key Takeaways:

  • A far-left school counselor has been arrested and charged with sexual misconduct with a minor.
  • She headed up the school’s LGBTQIA+ group and organized a drag show for the students.
  • Her history also includes trying to get illegal residents into American universities.
