Congress Blindsides Sanctuary Cities – Democrats In Deep Trouble

Congress just made their move on sanctuary cities – they just shook up the 2018 midterms.

Since Trump’s enter office, he’s face obstruction from one major source: Congress.

This has outraged millions of Americans. Especially since Congress has enjoyed a Republican majority.

But with midterms looming, many Americans are demanding Congress to get things done, or we’ll put them out of a job.

While the Democrats promise impeachment and “resistance,” one GOP lawmaker has finally made good on one massive promise.

From Roll Call:

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has introduced legislation that includes more than $23 billion for President Donald Trump’s border security agenda and numerous enforcement provisions aimed at cracking down on sanctuary cities and undocumented criminals, a proposal that could boost his bid to lead the House GOP after next month’s elections…

Specifically, the legislation text includes $16.6 billion for wall construction and $6.8 billion for infrastructure and technology improvements for the Border Patrol…

Among them are provisions drawn from a bill that would raise mandatory minimum penalties for undocumented immigrants who repeatedly cross the border and others taken from legislation to strip funding from sanctuary cities.

While the media focuses on the wall funding, they seem to miss one crucial factor of McCarthy’s bill.

Trump’s AG, Jeff Sessions, has been fighting to defund sanctuary cities.

Radical, activist judges tried to block this move. They are forcing the federal government to dish out cash for cities that protect criminals.

But with a bill put forward by Congress, judges will not be able to protect sanctuary cities anymore.

This bill will go a very long way in finally securing Trump’s plan to end illegal immigration in the United States.

You better believe Democrats want to kill it. The only way it can survive is if Republicans push it through.

The bill might not pass before the midterms. That means America can decide if we want this kind of security.

If conservatives come out in full force at the polls, we will elect more leaders who will back this bill.

But if the blue wave hits, all of Trump’s plans are gone.
