Democrats know they might not have a majority in Congress in 2022. So, they are doing everything they can to force through Joe’s agenda right now.
They know they don’t have Republicans’ support for most of Biden’s plan.
Their goal is to get as much done through “reconciliation” a loophole that only requires 51 votes in the Senate.
Reconciliation only works with budget issues, not major changes like their voting “reform.”
But some Democrats think they can push their “holy grail” through reconciliation.
Senate Democrats will seek a pathway to citizenship for as many as 8 million undocumented immigrants in a broad economic package they want to pass this year, according to a Senate Democratic aide familiar with the plan…
Democrats are drafting a fiscal blueprint that will kick-start the process by instructing the Senate Judiciary Committee to craft a targeted immigration overhaul bill with a US$120 billion federal budgetary impact, the aide said.
Are you kidding me? Making 8 million non-American citizens?
It seems they want to add $120 billion to Biden’s already bloated spending agenda to make this a reality.
In order to make this happen, they need to get Biden’s $3.5 trillion package passed before their August recess.
How can Democrats make these people citizens through a budget package? Good question.
It seems like Democrats are, once again, stretching what they think they can do through reconciliation.
Biden tried to claim radical social programs were “human infrastructure” to get them into a traditional infrastructure package.
Americans didn’t buy that. But here we are, once again, watching Democrats try to pull a fast one on America.
What’s ironic is that Donald Trump wanted to address the problem of “Dreamers” and the millions of non-citizens living in this country.
He wanted a merit-based system that would encourage legal immigration and root out freeloaders and welfare leeches.
Democrats rejected it, leaving millions in limbo.
Today, they just want to provide mass amnesty, in a pathetic attempt to win votes.
But whether they can get away with this is still a very big question.
Do you want Biden to pass amnesty with their budget package? Let him know below.
- Senate Democrats want to slip a “pathway to citizenship” into Biden’s spending package.
- The plan would help 8 million non-citizens, rewarding them for breaking the law.
- They are trying to sneak this into a bill that also expands the welfare state.
