Congress Blindsides the Biden Family – Hunter and James Just Got Served for 1 Possible Crime

Joe Biden and family have been the highlight of news since before the president took office. Evidence and more evidence that could implicate the Biden clan has surfaced after the liberal news media swept most negative news under the rug for years.

Republicans have steadfastly worked to unearth the truth about the schemes the Bidens have been working for years. GOP leaders want the truth about all Biden operations before and during Joe’s time in office. Republicans on multiple occasions have grilled members of the Biden family before Congress.

GOP leaders believe they have enough evidence to seek criminal prosecution of two of Joe Biden’s family members. His son and brother are the target of charges related to the congressional testimony.

From CNN:
The Republican-led committees leading an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden on Wednesday referred the president’s son and brother to the Department of Justice, recommending they be charged with making false statements to Congress during their respective closed-door interviews earlier this year.

The Republican committee chairmen laid out their case for why the DOJ should pursue criminal charges of Hunter and James Biden in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and special counsel David Weiss, who is leading separate criminal cases involving Hunter Biden.

GOP investigations into the Bidens center on past business associations. Republicans are focused on alleged false statements made by Hunter Biden on Feb. 28 and for James Biden on Feb. 21.

The allegations claim that Hunter Biden “falsely distanced himself” from a corporation that received millions of dollars from foreign individuals, Rosemont Seneca Bohai. Republicans also claim he delivered an “entirely fictitious account” about alleged text messages depicting his father as leverage to pressure payments from a Chinese company.

Republicans claimed that James Biden testified that Joe Biden, as a private citizen, did not meet with Biden family business associate Tony Bobulinski. That has been contradicted by Bobulinski and Hunter Biden.

Despite Republican efforts to expose the Bidens, there is little chance that the Biden-controlled DOJ will act on the criminal referrals. The referrals do not obligate the DOJ to investigate the referrals or pursue prosecution. Republicans believe the DOJ should act immediately.

“If the Attorney General wishes to demonstrate he is not running a two-tiered system of justice and targeting the President’s political opponents, he will open criminal investigations into James and Hunter Biden,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said.

“We’ve caught President Biden’s son and brother making blatant lies to Congress in what appears to be a concerted effort to hide Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s schemes,” House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) said.

Republicans are also looking to tie their criminal referral of Hunter Biden to his ongoing criminal trial on felony gun charges. The argument there is that the criminal charge of lying on a gun purchase should weigh on how the DOJ evaluates these latest accusations.

Key Takeaways:

  • House Republicans issued criminal referrals of James and Hunter Biden to the DOJ.
  • GOP leaders asked the DOJ to act quickly over alleged false statements to Congress.
  • James Comer (R-KY) said Biden’s son and brother made “blatant lies” in testimony.
