After Congress Takes 7 Months To Pass Small Stimulus Checks – Phil Robertson Accuses ‘Ungodly’ Washington Of Putting People Out Of Work

What’s Happening:

Americans are getting sick and tired of the games going on in Washington, D.C. Even after all we’ve gone through, lawmakers are still underperforming for the country.

Democrats took a beating in the 2020 Election, yet they still put partisan politics ahead of the good of the country. After promise a new round of relief for Americans, the best most can expect is a $600 check.

Americans of all political views are frustrated. And one of conservative America’s favorite people, Phil Robertson, is turning up the heat on the swamp.

From Fox News:

Robertson, the TV patriarch of “Duck Dynasty,” appeared perturbed by the bill in a lengthy Instagram post in which he accuses politicians of putting citizens in dire straits amid the global health crisis.

“Politicians put people out of work, killed small businesses, and said it was to protect us. And now Congress wants to send Americans $600 for their troubles?” Robertson, a staunch conservative and President Trump backer, begins his caption posted late Monday.

Robertson blasted the government over its latest COVID “relief” package. He criticized our leaders for putting people “out of work” and “killing small businesses.” But they have refused to offer any real kind of help.

The best Americans can expect for all their troubles this year will be a $600 check, after Christmas Day. Santa Claus, our leaders ain’t.

Robertson concludes that regular folks can do more for the “down-and-out” than the government ever can. He accused “ungodly legislators” of hurting Americans and wasting our tax dollars.

He called on Americans to “fight” for the right to use their money to help those in need, rather than letting the government do it.

This is a sentiment shared by many Americans. Most conservatives believe in small government because they’d rather use their money for good—than let it get wasted by politicians.

It’s not just conservatives criticizing the bill. Even left-wing former actress Alyssa Milano complained over the paltry relief package.

This is yet another lesson for Americans not to put their trust in the government. The future prosperity of this government will not be secured by career politicians in D.C.

We will only thrive when we refuse to let the government determine our fate and control our destiny.

Key Takeaways:

  • Conservative icon Phil Robertson criticized the government’s COVID relief package.
  • He said only Americans can truly help those in need, not government.
  • Robertson is a frequent critic of bloated government and wasteful spending.
