When a Democrat can’t catch a break from CNN—you know they are in trouble.
After years of slamming Trump and propping up liberal candidates, you’d think CNN would continue its love affair with a man like Joe Biden.
But apparently, even they are ticked off at the state of the country.
Joe Biden has claimed his radical, far-left plans are supported by many people. He even claims a few rando Republicans back his plans to bankrupt the country.
But even CNN had to call out his wild claims.
A CNN fact check concluded that President Joe Biden made up support for his jobs plan during recent comments in which he inferred he had the support of people who are no longer living…
“President Joe Biden claimed last Wednesday that the last five leaders of the Federal Reserve had declared that his American Jobs Plan proposal will increase economic growth,” Dale noted…
Dale noted an obvious flaw in Biden’s statement: Only three former Federal Reserve chairs are still living.
Joe Biden claimed that five former Federal Reserve heads were championing his plan to raise taxes and expand the welfare state.
But even CNN had to nail him, saying that only three former Federal Reserve chairs are still living.
The others? They didn’t seem to say anything.
The White House tried to spin, saying he simply misquoted an article where five former IRS heads mentioned his proposals.
There’s a big difference between the people who head the Federal Reserve and the IRS. One body is responsible for conducting America’s monetary policy. The other body collects taxes, effectively draining Americans of their wealth to support the bloated government.
But even then, these five former IRS commissioners didn’t say Biden’s plans were good for the economy. They just liked the fact that Biden wants to make it easier for their corrupt agency to hunt down Americans for every last penny.
Call me crazy, but that doesn’t sound good for the economy, does it?
It appears nobody from the Federal Reserve is saying Biden’s toxic plan will “grow” the economy. History has made it clear that high taxes and government spending do not help the economy.
What does? Slashed taxes and regulations, along with smaller (less spendy) government. But those are the last things Biden intends to do.
- CNN hammered Joe Biden on a misleading, inaccurate claim.
- Biden claimed 5 former heads of the Federal Reserve championed his plan.
- But they did not. In fact, two of those people are no longer alive.
