When we had Donald Trump in the White House, we could count on the president putting American workers first.
Many blue-collar Americans loved him, because he fought to “Buy American” and “Hire American.”
Democrat Joe Biden got the support of many labor unions during the election. It seems these laborers thought he would do the same, or better, as Donald Trump.
Instead, China Joe has reared his ugly head. Because he’s ditching America’s miners to send our money overseas.
Miners in the United States who hoped President Joe Biden would support domestic production of critical minerals are reacting to his plan to ditch them and rely on other countries, including China…
The plan under consideration would entail buying the materials from overseas markets and allow US manufacturers to assemble them into batteries or electric vehicles in an effort to create American jobs but still remain in the good graces of environmental groups, Reuters reported on Tuesday…
“The winner of such policy is China, again,” Althaus said in the statement.
Anyone who has been paying attention shouldn’t be surprised by this news.
Joe Biden pretended to be a union-loving Democrat. But really, he’s a globalist with heavy progressive sympathies.
He cares much more about appeasing foreign nations and the radicals who hold too much power in the DNC, than the hard-working Americans who voted for him.
His plan would cut out American miners from lucrative deals companies make to manufacture goods.
Instead of buying American-harvested minerals for technological products, companies would be allowed to buy cheap stuff from China.
During Trump’s administration, he fought very hard to get American companies to buy American materials.
He even passed controversial tariffs on goods like steel and aluminum that came from China.
It appears Biden is doing the exact opposite, making it easier for companies to abandon American workers for cheap and easy foreign material.
It’s no different than policies that encourage companies to ship jobs overseas. American workers, once again, are losing out.
How can the media claim Biden is a “man of the people,” when he pulls stunts like this? From everything we’ve seen, he cares much more about the rich and powerful of this world, rather than regular folks.
The only hope is that this proposal gets enough bad press that it’s shot down.
- Biden is taking flack from American miners for a plan that would cut them out of work.
- The administration is considering a plan that lets companies buy minerals from overseas.
- This would eliminate jobs and pay for thousands of American mining workers.
