Leftists don’t seem daunted by the idea of using children to advance Democrats’ political power. A news report exposed how Joe Biden and his team were working behind the scenes to determine if one of the most vulnerable groups of people in America could be manipulated to get the president more votes.

The Biden administration sought taxpayer funding for a program that would use school children to provide voter registration materials to Native Americans, according to emails obtained by Protect the Public’s Trust and shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF).Department of the Interior (DOI) officials in 2022 developed a plan that would have given Native American children attending Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) schools voter registration materials to bring home to their parents, internal emails show.
“Department leadership is proposing having BIE send home voter registration cards with students to give to their parents,” BIE team lead Jennifer Wiginton wrote in a February 2022 email.
Biden’s team was looking to maximize a targeted voting bloc that traditionally supports Democrats. Native Americans strongly preferred Democratic House candidates in 2022, with 56% saying they would cast their ballot for a Democrat compared to the 40% who said they’d vote Republican, according to a poll conducted by the African American Research Collaborative shortly before the midterm elections.
And Biden’s team was ready to deploy children to do his work on the campaign trail. Convincing children to carry his political water would give him direct access to parents and family members who could vote.
Biden put this idea into motion with his Executive Order 14019 that he issued in March 2021. Biden ordered the heads of federal agencies to “evaluate ways in which the agency can, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, promote voter registration and voter participation.”
A Biden team member in the DOI confirmed that a plan was formulated. DOI attorney-advisor Joshua Berg said the native voter registration operation was developed by him and his colleagues “to distribute voter registration applications at BIE schools so that school children [could] bring home voter registration applications to their parents and/or guardians.”
Berg and gang had it worked out where Biden’s proposed child brigade would supply pre-paid envelopes to return Democrat-heavy, completed voter registration applications. The proposed plan would have spread through native communities.
Voter registration applications could have swept through the roughly 46,000 Native American students served by the BIE, which is a division of the DOI. This could have encompassed 64 Indian reservations in 23 states within a network of 183 elementary and secondary schools.
The proposed plan to use Native American children as Biden voter registration surrogates didn’t get completed, according to a DOI spokesperson who said there was no program in place at BIE schools.
The very idea of using the children to promote Biden to voters was harshly criticized. “It’s disgraceful that BIE would even consider diverting resources that could be used to increase student achievement, especially among a population of students that has already fallen behind,” Protect the Public’s Trust director Michael Chamberlain told the DCNF.
It’s disturbing to think that Biden’s team would consider using children to push a political agenda. This underhanded tactic shows the lengths to which they will go to manipulate the system for their gain.
