Candace Owens Fires Back After Harsh Accusation – “Fundamentally Lying” About Me and My Husband

Conservative personality and media host Candace Owens has become a favorite target of the left. Right-wing African-American women tend to rile up the left in a variety of ways.

This time, she’s locked in a heated feud with interior designer and Town & Country contributing editor David Netto, and America is paying close attention.

Now, Owens is fighting back with some simple statements of fact concerning herself and her husband, George Farmer.

It all began with Farmer approached Netto about using his services after the couple admired his work in a Nashville home.

Netto declined to work with the Owens’ and reportedly sent a wildly insulting reply that said he’d “rather get beat in the a** with a wooden plank than ever go near either of you.”

Vanity Fair quickly seized on the combustible comment and asked Netto about it, and he hinted that Owens and Farmer had ties to January 6. As a result, he said they should expect to be “told off in polite society.”

This didn’t go over well with Candace, who immediately replied (via The Daily Wire):

He’s fundamentally lying.

I think he kind of got caught with his pants down to Vanity Fair. I think that he’s quite embarrassed about his nastiness being made public.

Owens, the well-known author and BLEXIT founder, reminded everyone that she was just about to have a baby (9 months pregnant) on January 6, 2021, and her husband was not running Parler at the time.

Candace then followed this with a direct reply to Netto on social media:

I’ve been asked to comment in a few articles on your email to me and my husband and I wanted to personally let you know that my husband is an immigrant and was not even allowed to work in the United States at the time of January 6th.

I was also 9 months pregnant at that time and was nowhere near the capitol. The insinuation that we were involved in terrorism is just such a lie.

Owens additionally clarified that the CEO of Parler at that point was John Matze, and that Netto only said what he said because he’d been “genuinely misinformed.”

She also said that after her husband got Netto’s nasty refusal of services, the couple only responded with a polite email, thanking Netto for considering them. “We were not going to return the nastiness,” she said.

However, Owens did use this event as a catalyst for making another point.

She said this unpleasant interaction calls out the left’s demand that you’re forced to “bake the cake,” in reference to the targeting of Christians who don’t want anything to do with gay wedding ceremonies.

Owens told Vanity Fair that if she had made the response Netto did, she would’ve been eviscerated by the media.

But because she’s a conservative, that’s not what happened. So of course, the far-left MSM and all its supporters will side with Netto, despite being the one who sounded uncivilized. Not to mention the inaccurate insinuation.

The more the left acts in this fashion, the more people like Candace Owens will expose them as best they can.

Key Takeaways:

  • Candace Owens has responded to interior designer David Netto’s inaccurate suggestion that she and her husband had anything to do with Jan. 6.
  • Owens said he’s “fundamentally lying,” and clarified that her husband only responded politely.
  • The BLEXIT founder added that this reinforces the radical left’s position: either agree with us or we’re coming after you.
