Democrat-run states have long criticized their Republican-led counterparts. Ignoring basic stats and figures, blue states claim they are the best places in America. They seem to be ignoring the fact that, for years, residents have been fleeing blue states.
This is thanks to progressive policies pushed hard by Democrat mayors, governors, and district attorneys.
If you live in a blue state, you can look forward to high taxes, rampant crime, homelessness everywhere, and decreasing housing and job opportunities. And, if you live in this particular blue state, you have this other problem to worry about. Despite bragging about its heavy regulation, this happens the most there.

Ironically, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) consistently lauds the alleged success of gun control in his state while criticizing the looser gun laws in states in other parts of the country, such as Florida.
Democrat-run California has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country. If you live there, you should just accept the fact that you won’t be able to buy a gun legally. Despite this, California led the country in “active shooter incidents” last year.
What!? How is that possible when the Democrats who run the state have effectively stopped law-abiding Americans from buying guns? Perhaps it’s because their strict, unconstitutional laws are making it easier for criminals to open fire on citizens?
States with the strongest gun laws tend to have much more gun violence. This is due in part to the fact that criminals know there will be nobody shooting back. Gun violence is a threat everywhere. However, states that respect the Second Amendment do little to restrict the constitutional right. Big surprise: there are fewer shootings.
And the shootings that do happen in red states are almost always in places where there are no law-abiding Americans allowed to carry firearms.
California’s Gov. Newsom has long bashed red states. He is particularly scared of Florida, where Gov. DeSantis has been taking California residents from him for years. Yet Newsom has no answer for these numbers.
It’s hard not to feel a sense of frustration. Democrats often tout their policies as superior, yet the facts tell a different story. How can California lead the nation in active shooter incidents with such strict gun laws? Maybe it’s time to rethink these heavy-handed regulations.
