Not only are Democrats in California trying to help border jumpers. But one assemblyman wants to provide grants to help migrants convicted of violent crimes. These aren’t the “poor” families that Democrats claim we should let in, but the very criminals Donald Trump warned us about.
This California Democrat wants to use state tax dollars to provide aid to people who are in the country illegally and committed a violent crime. Not just those accused of a crime, but convicted—meaning they’ve been found guilty and are sentenced to jail.
Reggie Jones-Sawyer thinks these individuals deserve tax dollars to assist them in making appeals to get out of jail early—and any other legal assistance they want.
The Democrat try to spined his plan as giving people “a second chance.” Ironically, most violent criminals have been given numerous chances—yet always revert to lives of crime.
He said he “championed efforts” to prevent people from being treated as “second-class individuals.” Notice, he didn’t say second-class citizens. It seems he is more concerned for the welfare of violent criminals, than the very people they hurt.
This appears to be consistent with the Democratic Party’s national platform, to put outsiders and migrants ahead of Americans. The Biden administration has failed to prevent 7 million border jumpers from entering the country. The damage such a reality can cause to Americans is vast. Yet Democrats are apparently doing nothing to prevent migrants from stealing jobs and hurting citizens.
This one Democrat is even admitting he wants to provide legal assistance to illegal aliens who hurt Americans.
