Under President Obama, the government was out of control—and Trump is getting things back in order.
Obama regulated industries to the point where they had no freedom. Banking was almost crippled, thanks to Stalinist abuses. The Internet was just a few clicks from becoming government-controlled. Companies were driven to bankruptcy, thanks to an EPA run amuck.
Perhaps worst of all was the CFPB. This “protection bureau” wielded incredible power over consumers. It was supposed to end “unfair, deceptive, and abusive practices.”
But when have you ever seen that happen? Companies continue to deceive customers. The real goal of the CFPB, like the FCC and other agencies, was to collect bribe money from powerful businesses in exchange for privilege.
Small companies or honest businesses were saddled with destructive burdens. Big surprise.
Worst still, those who ran the board were bitter, manipulative, rebellious Democrats. Well, I should say, those who used to run the board.

Trump should have nixed the rogue CFPB agency last year, but he did the next best thing in putting Mick Mulvaney in charge of it.
Well now Mulvaney has just fired the entire 25 member team that advised the board:
Mick Mulvaney, acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, fired the agency’s 25-member advisory board Wednesday, days after some of its members criticized his leadership of the watchdog agency.

On Monday, 11 CAB members held a news conference and criticized Mulvaney for, among other things, canceling legally required meetings with the group.
On Wednesday, group members were notified that they were being replaced — and that they could not reapply for spots on the new board.
What the hell did you think was going to happen? You held a news conference and bashed your boss? Democrats must be completely out of touch with reality, to think they could get away with that.
I guess they were just following what every liberal senator, governor, reporter, and celebrity does when they bash the president. These board members thought they could get away with being jackasses. Turns out, their jobs were at stake.
The fact of the matter is, CFPB was another agency abused by Obama. Like in every other circumstance, his goons abused government oversight to transform the United States into Soviet Russia.
They wanted so much government control over private businesses, they wouldn’t be private anymore. It eventually leads to bankrupt companies, lost jobs, and evaporating wealth. But the government gets super rich. I guess that’s all Obama cared about.
Now that the purge is complete, maybe this bureau can actually do good work. It can confront real abuses by corrupt companies and protect consumers.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
