Over the Summer, the mainstream media has hyped up their polls that claim Biden is leading Trump.
It appears they have forgotten 2016, when all polls said Hilary would win big.
But since Joe Biden’s been getting out of the basement more and more, a shift is occurring.
This week, Biden lead the Democrat’s national convention. It was his best shot at impressing Americans.
And guess what happened? A state Trump lost by only a few points is now breaking his way:
A Morning Consult poll released Tuesday shows Biden with a three-point lead in the state, 47%-44%, over President Donald Trump, a seven-point dip since the survey was conducted in May. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus four points.
The Trafalgar Group poll released July 26 shows Biden with just a five-point edge over Trump, 49.2-44.2%.
A new poll reveals Joe Biden is in a virtual tie with Donald Trump in Minnesota, a state that hasn’t gone for a Republican since 1972.
This news comes after Joe Biden announced his running mate and appeared at the DNC. Those are two major events that should have given him a huge bump.
Knowing the inherent flaws in modern polling (see: 2016) the outcome of Minnesota might be an even bigger win for Trump.
The real question is why? Why is a blue state that has voted for Democrats for decades suddenly looking good for Donald Trump?
Maybe it has something to do with the near-apocalyptic riots that consumed Minneapolis earlier this Summer?
Democrats in the city and state sat back as anarchists and other forces nearly burned the city to the ground. Some estimate the damage is as high as $500 million.
In response to the violence, the radical city council of Minneapolis voted to abolish the police. It sparked a movement among Democrats to defund police or shut down vital departments.
This has not gone over well with most Americans. Surveys reveal very few Americans back the defund the police movement.
Yet not only are Democrats continuing to push this idea, but even Joe Biden said police have “become the enemy.”
Should we be surprised that Ground Zero of the riots and movement would turn for Trump? The president has been outspoken in his support of police and has used the federal government to end violence nationwide.
He was also the one who ended the chaos in Minnesota after the governor admitted he couldn’t stop it.
Perhaps this poll isn’t as far off as the left wants us to think?
- A new poll reveals Joe Biden is tied with Trump for blue state Minnesota.
- This comes after Biden’s running mate reveal and DNC appearance.
