Jessica Konen said her 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, was told by her school in the Spreckels Union School District in Monterey County (California) that she may be upset because she didn’t know who she “truly was inside.” From there, the school allowed her to use the boy’s bathroom, used male pronouns to refer to her and was “socially transitioned” away from her biological gender.
This mom was having none of this progressive recalibration. Jessica Konen sued the district when she found out that her daughter was being identified as a male and socially transitioning without her knowledge. And she won. The district settled the case for $100,000 and Alicia has decided to re-identify as a girl.
Jessica Konen set the standard for how to fight leftist methods of secretly transforming children without parental permission. This is a prime example of the despicable ways leftists want to turn children from their parents and change them into something they are not. Jessica Konen plans to keep fighting to help other parents and children facing this same situation.
“They need to understand their place, and they need to stay in their place. And schools nowadays, they’re awful. So, I’m going to fight this fight and keep fighting this fight,” Konen told Fox News Digital.

They have since been able to recover from this strain on their relationship and are working together to remove “parental secrecy” from schools. Jessica Konen encouraged other parents to stand strong, question school actions and decisions, be active in the lives of their children, and fight for what they believe.
