Police believe the vehicle might had already been stolen by the armed robbers. The incident was mocked by online users, calling it a hilarious twist. Despite the humor of the situation, this incident could very well be underscoring the growing crime crisis happening across the country.
In some cities, residents leave their car doors open, just to prevent crooks from smashing in their windows. Police don’t arrest shoplifters, because district attorneys no longer prosecute them. Numerous stores are closing their doors for good, because they cannot survive with the endless crime.
And in this city, crime might be getting so bad, that not even criminals can keep their cars safe.
Some blue cities have tried to remedy the situation. Recalls have forced radical DAs out of office. Some mayors have tried to restore police funding. But it appears much more needs to be done to end the rising tide of crime in Democrat-run communities.
