What’s Happening:

After rejecting Sen. Tim Scott’s police reform bill in 2020, Democrats are rallying around a new executive order by Joe Biden.

The order took many of the ideas from Scott’s bill, including means of holding bad cops accountable. The left might be applauding Joe, but he lost one major Democrat-connected group.

This is not going to go over well. The official Black Lives Matter Twitter account posted a tweet slamming Biden’s executive order on police departments.

It seems like the radical, Marxist group doesn’t like Biden making attempts to reform and improve police departments across America.

You might be confused, right? Isn’t BLM devoted to protecting black folks? And they often blame cops for killing black Americans?

Wouldn’t they be on board with an EO at fixing the problem?

Of course not. Leftists and progressives are not interested in fixing problems, just milking them for attention and power.

If a problem is really fixed, then progressives have no reason to continue. They benefit more from a problem that cannot be solved, so they have a platform.

This is why BLM made the bogus claim that police have “racist origins.” They accused police of being behind “white supremacy” and “state violence.”

Of course, none of that is true. And not even BLM believes it. If you were to believe their message, it would mean the end of police forces everywhere.

Nobody is going to do that, even BLM knows that. So, they have this convenient enemy in the form of cops to beat up as much as they want.

Actual progress in fixing police departments (rewarding good cops and getting rid of bad cops) doesn’t help BLM’s goal of exploiting black Americans so that members of this group get rich and famous.
