Most “experts” predicted Hillary Clinton would easily beat Donald Trump in 2016. Clearly, they were wrong.
Only a few people (besides us) thought Trump would win. That included a billionaire bond fund manager Jeffrey Gundlach.
Now that he’s seen Biden’s VP pick—Kamala Harris—he’s ready to announce his 2020 prediction:
Billionaire bond fund manager Jeffrey Gundlach believes the polls are wrong and that President Trump will win a second term in the White House.
“Will Joe Biden beat Donald Trump in November? I don’t think so,” Gundlach, CEO and chief investment officer of Los Angeles-based DoubleLine Capital…
He added that a “highly toxic political environment” makes the polls “very, very squishy.”
Gundlach, like 2016, is saying Donald Trump will once again win the election.
He criticized most mainstream media polls, saying they are “very squishy.” Pointing to the “highly toxic political environment,” he suggests few people are willing to give their honest opinion to strangers over the phone.
A recent survey revealed 61% of Americans are afraid to share their political views. It’s easy to see why.
Since 2016, open Trump supporters have been attacked, ridiculed, fired, or kicked out of school. The mainstream media has declared war on anyone wearing a red MAGA hat.
Many Americans back Trump, but don’t want the hate-driven mob to destroy their lives.
Why would they tell a total stranger (from a liberal media company) who they are voting for?
That’s just one of the many reasons modern-day polling has some serious problems.
Gundlach also predicts there will be many “twists and turns” until Election Day that might impact independent voters. He might be referring to the upcoming debates, where Joe Biden has to go up against Donald Trump.
Many have expressed worry about Biden’s mental abilities. Can he withstand hours of debating against a juggernaut like Trump, without melting down?
There might also be an “October surprise” in the form of Attorney General Barr’s findings on the Russian investigation. Recent reports suggest Joe Biden was involved in the unmasking and perhaps leaking of Michael Flynn’s name.
Should a report detailing the DOJ’s criminal investigation into “Obamagate” come out before the election, it might have serious implications on Biden’s chances.
- Billionaire bond fund manager says Donald Trump will win 2020.
- Gundlach criticized polls, saying they are just an inaccurate as they were in 2016.
- He accurately predicted Trump would win in the last election.
