It appears Biden’s top priority in office has been to push a far-left green agenda. His administration admitted its strict, crippling fossil fuel rules were meant to force states and Americans to switch to alternative sources of energy.
But Biden’s plans to require Americans to buy expensive, unreliable electric vehicles have failed. Americans don’t want EVs. Companies that gambled on Biden’s plans have lost billions.
And it seems the bad news for Joe keeps coming in. One massive tech firm was secretly developing what could have been a game-changing product. It would have been a “green” car that used AI to drive itself. But now, they are scrapping ten years of work, because it isn’t worth it.
From Breitbart:
Apple’s hitherto secret effort to develop its own self-driving electric vehicle (EV) has reached a dead end. Multiple sources confirmed to news outlets Wednesday the iPhone maker has dumped the project after a decade’s work delivered little return on investment. The firm has never publicly acknowledged its efforts which involve around two thousand people, some of whom who will now be reassigned elsewhere or face being cut altogether.
Apple is ending Project Titan, the not-so-secret project to build a self-driving, electric car. The company, a leader in the tech world, had spent billions over ten years to develop this idea. But now, they are ending the project, another major blow to Biden’s green agenda.
According to reports, Apple apparently couldn’t see how its EV could bring a “return on investment.” This comes as Biden’s spent billions to push electric cars. Yet, in recent years, EVs have become less popular than they’ve ever been.
How does a president fail so badly, that he ends up making futuristic technology less attractive to consumers? But if anyone can do that, Biden can.
He forced the issue, thinking he could mandate that Americans make the jump from gas-powered cars to electric ones. But energy experts scolded the DOE and EPA for failing to provide numbers on how the country could provide enough energy–while phasing out fossil fuels.
Americans did not like that EVs cost twice as much as gas cars but had a range of only 100 miles or so. Electric cars, while popular among some consumers, cannot meet the needs of the average family–who takes summer road trips.
Biden wanted to spend billions, if not trillions, in building an EV infrastructure. But even that failed to materialize–perhaps because of his focus on Ukraine. Now, it is unlikely he will ever achieve his “green dream.”
Key Takeaways:
- Apple is ending its “secret” electric vehicles program, in a blow to Biden’s agenda.
- Biden spent billions to force Americans to switch to EVs, but he has failed tremendously.
- Car companies that bet on Biden’s agenda have lost billions as the EV market tanks.
