If you are around children at all, you know about the baby formula shortage. Yes, Biden’s failures are so bad, that the country doesn’t have enough formula for its children.

Biden has refused to offer any answers as to why there is a lack of such a basic product. But we know a part of the problem are the supply chains, which his pathetic administration continues to ignore.

Now, another piece of the puzzle has come to light. The FDA shut down the largest baby formula plant and refuses to reopen it.

An Abbott spokesperson told DailyMail.com Tuesday that ‘thorough investigation’ by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Abbott revealed ‘infant formula produced at our Sturgis facility is not the likely source of infection in the reported cases and that there was not an outbreak caused by products from the facility’.

However, despite the findings of the investigation, the plant remains shuttered nearly three months later, fueling the nationwide baby formula shortage.

The FDA shut down a baby formula plant after two children died of an infection. The company claims the infections were not caused by the baby formula.

Yet the FDA refuses to say when this plant can be reopened. The plant has been closed since February, likely driving the company into financial hardship.

This news comes as parents grapple with a lack of baby formula. Biden’s bankrupt administration has refused to properly address a supply chain backlog that has been raging since 2021.

Ships are unable to offload supplies at major ports. Part of this is due to government agencies still keeping workers at home. Other factors include California’s ridiculous green policies, which deny many trucks from entering the state.

Joe Biden’s fix literally amounted to one change: a fine for companies for leaving empty shipping containers at the port. That’s it. Are we expected to believe that will do anything?

This problem has been going on for over a year. Yet Biden doesn’t even care. Now, we are seeing his administration going further to make the problem worse, by shutting down this plant.

Much like Biden closing drilling for oil during the gas crisis, his administration seems determined to do everything wrong.

The fact that he hasn’t been tarred and feathered is a real mystery.
