On Biden’s Way Out, He Forgives $5 Billion in Ukrainian Economic Loans

It may not feel like it, but Joe Biden is still the president of the United States. Believe it or not, Biden still has a few weeks left of what will be his sole term as president before Donald Trump mercifully takes over and hopefully turns this country around.

In the months since Biden was seemingly forced out of the presidential race by the establishment of his own party, he has been laying relatively low. This week, however, Biden announced a move involving Ukraine, indicating that he isn’t quite done doing damage to America.

This move serves as a reminder as to why the American people have voted Democrats out of office, giving Republicans control of the presidency, the Senate, and the House. Indeed, we are sick and tired of politicians who put America last.

From Fox News:
The Biden administration told Congress it plans to cancel $4.65 billion in debt owed by Ukraine, approximately half of an economic loan offered earlier this year.

State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller confirmed the plans in a briefing on Wednesday. “So we have taken the step that was outlined in the law to cancel those loans, provide that economic assistance to Ukraine,” he said.

In April, Congress passed a supplemental funding package that earmarked $60 billion worth of aid for Ukraine, including $9 billion structured as a loan, with a provision that allowed the administration to forgive it, according to Miller. Miller added that Congress could pass a resolution of disapproval to overturn the cancellation.

Thankfully, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) immediately introduced such a resolution.

“On his way out, Joe Biden is trying to forgive $4.65 billion of debt Ukraine owes America’s taxpayers. I just introduced H.J. Res 224 to stop this America Last’ policy from taking effect,” Massie said.

Biden Has Prioritized Ukraine Over America

Since Russia invaded Ukraine back in 2022, Congress has appropriated over $175 billion for Ukraine. This comes as millions of Americans are struggling just to put food on the table in Biden’s America. Under the Biden regime, the economy has gone to shambles, and inflation has skyrocketed.

Despite the fact that millions of American citizens are facing astronomical financial struggles at the moment, Biden’s priority on his way out the door continues to be Ukraine. You truly can’t make this stuff up.

This comes after Biden authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-provided long-range missiles to strike Russia earlier this week. He then gave them permission to use anti-personnel land mines, much to the dismay of various human rights groups.

Biden claimed that he made these moves after Russia brought in 10,000 troops from North Korea to fight in the war in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Trump’s allies responded by accusing Biden of “escalating” the war on his way out the door “for politics.”

While it’s unclear how Trump plans to handle Ukraine when he takes office, he’s previously claimed that he could end this war “in 24 hours” if he was at the negotiating table with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This all just goes to show that the end of Biden’s presidency can’t come soon enough. The sooner Biden is out of the White House, the better off we’ll all be!

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden to cancel $4.65 billion in debt owed by Ukraine.
  • Republicans have introduced legislation “to stop this America Last’ policy from taking effect.”
  • Trump allies claim that Biden has been “escalating” the Ukraine-Russia war on his way out.
