Joe Biden got a major setback a few weeks ago, after a special counsel’s report exposed his ailing memory. For years, people have exposed doubt over Biden’s cognitive abilities; and now we have an official report confirming those fears.

Biden made a mess trying to defend himself soon after the report was released. Many believe he did far more damage than good to his reelection campaign.

Now, it seems his team is doing damage control over the damage Biden caused trying to refute a damaging report! He was on a late-night talk show, the last place hard-hitting questions would be asked. He tried to defend his age by bashing Trump. But he once again hurt himself.

Biden responded, “…[Trump’s] about as old as I am, but he can’t even remember his wife’s name, number one. Number two, it’s about how old your ideas are. Look, this is a guy who wants to take us back. He wants to take us back on Roe v. Wade. He wants to take us back on a whole range of issues that are, 50, 60 years they’ve been solid American positions. And I really mean this sincerely, I think it’s about the future, and everything, every single thing we’ve done — and I think we’ve gotten some good things done — everything — and they told us we couldn’t get them done because things were so divided and — but I think everything we’ve gotten done, he’s firmly stated, he wants to do away with if he gets elected. And I really think his views on where to take America are older than — anyway I don’t want to get [unintelligible].”

Biden tried to flip the talk about his advanced age by attacking Donald Trump. Instead, Biden seemed to make a bigger mess than before. He claimed Trump couldn’t remember his wife’s name.

That’s ironic, coming from a man who once called his wife his sister. Not to mention the many times Biden struggled to remember basic details about his life. (The special counsel’s report stated Biden couldn’t remember when he was vice president.)

Biden went on to say that Trump’s ideas are “old.” He made a stumbling reference to abortion, suggesting Trump’s pro-life views are “old.” Biden seems to ignore the fact that millions of Americans, including most who live in red states, agree with Trump.

The Democrat said he was focusing on the “future.” But Biden’s future appears to be one where hard-working Americans can’t afford to buy a home, are forced to buy expensive EVs, and have to compete for work with millions of illegal aliens (unless Biden just wants to replace Americans with migrants altogether).

He claimed he was able to get “some good things done.” What things? He has passed expensive spending bills that triggered massive inflation. He shut down American oil and gas production. And he continues to demand to send billions to a war overseas.

Not sure he defended himself well at all.
