Donald Trump raised the alarm over Joe Biden’s long and comfy relationship with China.
At a time when the U.S. needed to go hard on the communist country, we had a candidate that was practically in bed with them.
But, that’s okay, right? Because Joe said he wouldn’t go “soft” on the CCP? Suuuure…
Now, Joe is admitting what he’s really going to do with China.
President Joe Biden said he is willing to work with the communist government of China as long as it is in America’s interests during a speech on Thursday…
He argued his administration would confront China with a focus on “building back better” with domestic spending in the United States after the coronavirus pandemic and working to restore diplomatic ties with the rest of the world.
Biden claimed he would “work” with China when it was in America’s best interests. But, unlike Donald Trump, he does not appear to be taking a tough stance with the communist dictatorship.
China has a long history of exploiting the United States economically. The many companies that have outsourced labor to China lost big, when the country stole their patents and intellectual property.
Trump was able to check China, with tariffs on their cheap (and poor quality) steel and other materials.
With the onset of the virus, Trump also vowed to demand accountability from China, which many believe let it spread to the world.
Will Biden do all of that? He was wonderfully vague during his recent speech. It seemed he was clearly trying to avoid specific ways the U.S. will “work” with China under his leadership.
He sounded a lot like his press secretary, who also has troubling answering simple questions.
Whatever Biden claims, it seems he will not be willing to hit China with tariffs or other penalties for their role in the pandemic. Nor will Biden call out China for the way it abused Hong Kong or the Uyghur minorities.
Those globalists who hoped that Biden will play soft on China just might get their wish.
- Joe Biden promised to “work with” China when it is in America’s interests.
- He did not specify how he would hold the communist country accountable.
- Biden has a long history of playing it easy on the CCP.
